Do we install pavers?

So of course we do stamp concrete work, but do we also install pavers? That is a question I am often asked. The answer is yes! However, our method is fundamentally different than most. BOSS can install your pavers over concrete, giving your new patio/driveway/walkway the paver look you want, and the permanence and stability of concrete underneath, instead of sand/gravel which can shift and settle over time. Decorative Sawcuts

I am often asked about cutting decorative sawcuts into concrete, just like this photo. And Im happy to do it, but there are certain places that they have to go, or else you get cracks like this, which will take the path of least resistance every time.

This stamped concrete patio was installed by BOSS Concrete in 2016. We just put a refresher coat of concrete sealer on the patio, which is necessary on many stamped concrete projects every few years in order to maintain its color and beauty. Three years later and it still looks brand new to me!

Landmark Christian School

BOSS Concrete Construction has done many concrete and masonry projects for Landmark Christian School in Fairburn over the years. This particular project was a renovation of the front exterior of the main building. We demo’d and replaced the front porch, steps, and ADA ramp. We also removed all the curb/gutter and repoured with colored concrete to eliminate the need to be repainted each year. The sidewalks were colored concrete as well.

What does this look like to you? To me it looks like a particle accelerator. But no, this is the machine that mixes the colors we use for our colored and stamped concrete jobs, and its located right here at Walker Construction Products in Tyrone. They just upgraded from the liquid color machines we have used for years, to this, which produces concrete color that is more consistent, with a longer shelf life, and with less volume. Good job Walker Construction Products!
