Late night at the office

So…I’ve been stamping concrete since I was 24 years old, but last night was the first time I ever had to stamp in the dark. Why would you stamp concrete in the dark, you may ask? Well, we had a rare 12 hours of dry weather, and we had to take advantage of it.

Stamped Concrete – Wood Plank Pattern

Want to improve your outdoor patio space with stamped concrete? Consider our Wood Plank Pattern. This is a photo from a job we just completed today, and there are many more available on our website. With the advent of the ‘Modern Farmhouse’ style brought on by HGTV’s Fixer Upper show, Wood Plank is on the rise from relative obscurity 5 years ago…and we do it better than anyone else.

Cobblestone driveway entrance

Sorry I haven’t shared in awhile. The rain has been killing us! Heres a recent stamped concrete job of a driveway entrance that is colored and stamped with our deep cobblestone pattern. Note the foreboding cumulonimbus clouds threatening in the distance…

Creekstone Bend Neighborhood

This week, we’re working in Creekstone Bend subdivision in Peachtree City. We’ve worked with at least 15 houses in this neighborhood over the last 15 years.

Even bad concrete work can look good for a while. But after a few years, bad workmanship will always become apparent. With BOSS, you get high quality workmanship installed by professionals who’ve spent their entire adult life in this industry. Combine that with the finest concrete mixes, some of which are specially designed by us for our customers, and you’ll have a concrete job that will look and stay beautiful for 20, 30, even 50 years!

Morallian Hills Neighborhood

Installed another driveway in Morallian Hills this week. As I drove through the neighborhood, I counted 24 houses that have new slabs, patios, and driveways because of the work we’ve done here over the last 15 years. That’s just in this one neighborhood alone. Man I must be getting old!

I think what matters most in our business is how our work holds up over time. We’ve installed driveways in Morallian Hills just about every year for the last 10 years, and they all still look great to me. But you be the judge

Pinewood Studios

Just completed another very cool concrete project for Pinewood studios! Mr. Snyder, Mark and the whole crew were awesome to work with. The name of the movie is [*DELETED*], and it comes out on [*REMOVED*]. I’ve never seen such massively cool sets…there were 7 [*EXPONGED*] and I’ve never actually seen a [*ELIMINATED*] in real life. Shout out to Joe at customconcretepumping… I’ve never seen a boom pump go though a [*WITHDRAWN*] before, so I took a picture because I didn’t think anyone would believe it.

I know they are pretty tight-lipped about what happens out there, but one little ole Facebook post won’t make much of a difference, right?

Struggling Competition

Hello Facebook Friends! It has been brought to my attention that there is a local competitor that tried to take credit for a driveway project we installed on Graystone Court in Peachtree City (Thank you Tom Rauch for pointing this out). Its unfortunate that this type of deceptive practice exists, and I encourage everyone soliciting estimates to fact check what they are told. We are developing methods to help consumers sort this all out for themselves. One of them is our mapping application on our website at https://bossconcrete.com . With this tool, we can pinpoint most of our work that can be seen from the street, as well as a brief description of what’s there. This is mostly driveway work, and we don’t post any projects that are not easily seen from the street, to protect our customer’s privacy. Other methods are in the works as well, and we’ll post updates as things progress.
